THE JUDGMENT OF THE NATIONS

God made a covenant with Abraham so that all the earth would be blessed through him. Abraham and his descendants were to represent God in the earth. So God promised Abraham, "I will bless those who bless you, and curse those who curse you..." Gen. 12:3 He confirmed the promise to Jacob, Gen. 27:29, and to all Israel, Num. 24:9.

The Bible makes it clear that the Jewish people are not better than other

peoples, but they have been chosen for a particular purpose. God Himself promised to judge Israel more severely than other peoples. "You only have I chosen of all the families of the earth; therefore I will punish you for all your sins." Amos 3:2

But He also makes it clear that whoever touches Israel touches the apple of His eye. Zech. 2:8 At the end of this age, He will judge all the nations of

the earth for how they have treated the Jewish people.

Yeshua spoke of this judgment that will take place after his return to destroy the nations that have gathered together against Jerusalem and her children. "All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats." Matt. 25:32

He will judge them according to God's promise to bless those who bless the Jewish people and curse those who curse them. "Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.’ Matt. 25:40 "Whatever you

did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me." Mt.25:45
